They have not even been built yet but a number of flats have already been sold at Provender Mill which is currently being rebuilt in Bakers Quay as part of a £55m redevelopment.
The 47 one and two bedroom homes are being marketed by estate agents Naylor Powel and five have already been bought despite a brick not being laid yet.
Director Richard Powell said that he is pleased with the reaction so far, adding it could spark strong interest in the city in general.
“We had a launch evening at the end of May and interest has been very good,” he said.
“Some have already reserved places and there’s many people expressing an interest. It’s very impressive.
Gloucester, especially around the pretty docks area, could continue to do very well because it has everything you need in a location.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see more and more interest in the city.”
